We are now proudly a stocking dealer for BILL HIRSCH restoration products.
I picked this truck up off of Craigslist. It's a fleet side 58 (59) GMC but unusual in that it is the fleet option truck which was essentially a stripped down version made with parts from Chevy and/or GMC. Of particular note is the single headlight and the grill treatment. Also, the speedometer cluster is the same as the Chevy but has GMC noted. An unusual and relatively rare truck. It was "supposed" to run and the rear end is locked up. It did not run (could not) due to the spider webs inside the carb and disconnected fuel pump.

This is the Grandville as it rolled off the delivery trailer in the driveway.

Drivetrain = 270 cid 1v. 3 speed column shift standard; replacement rear end which was locked due to incorrect installation. See plans below.
Suspension = original. See plans below.
Electrical = original. See plans below.
Interior = original.
Paint & Body = original.
Drivetrain: We're in the process of dropping the truck and installing a new rear end out of a Camaro. We will try and crank and drive it. We also have a Pontiac 350 and TH400 that could be dropped in. Decision will be made when it's driveable.
Suspension: Changing the rear end has dropped the rear 5". We'll get a 3" dropped front axle and replace soft components and shocks all around.
Electrical: It's 12v already so we'll change some wiring but mostly it will remain intact.
Interior: No seat now so it will get a complete custom interior. Color TBD.
Paint & Body: The normal rust areas are good here, but there are some bashes and bangs that have to be fixed. There will be much sanding. No color determined as yet.
We are a hot rod, custom and restoration shop. We will complete any portion of your build or restoration.
