This car came from Utah, purchased via ebay. The description was of no rust in the car which turned out to be inaccurate, but not truly the blame of the original owner. Floorboard rust was covered by original flooring. The interior was in very NASTY shape though whole.

This is the wagon as it rolled off the delivery trailer in the driveway.

Drivetrain = stock. See plans below.
Suspension = original. See plans below.
Electrical = original. See plans below.

Interior = original rear seat, door panels, headliner and recovered front.
Paint & Body = looks original. The only current issues with paint and body are few. Passenger side was sideswiped, leaving a dent down most of the side. Front floor pans need partial replacement. All other metal is in good shape. The car was undercoated when new and is incredibly good shape.
The overall plan for the wagon is a frame on restoration. The choice of "frame on" was made because of the quality of the underbody. There will be some slight changes from original such as color scheme.
At present, the wagon is in the shop completely stripped. The front floorboards have been replaced, passenger rear door is off and a replacement is ready to go in. Hammer and dolly work is nearly complete. New passenger rear window is ready to go in. Epoxy primer is in the near future.
Drivetrain: The drivetrain will remain original. This is currently a running, driving, street legal vehicle.
Suspension: New shocks are all that are planned at present.
Electrical: No changes. Everything works as is.
Interior: Everything new except the dash and guages. Color scheme will be original red/white vinyl. Rear area will be in stained wood however.
Paint & Body: Bolero red/white two toned. This is a non-original scheme for 55.
We are a complete restoration shop. We will do any portion of your restoration from a simple service of your car to a full frame off restoration.
